The Guaranteed Quit Smoking Cessation Program

In case you are wondering I am actually using “SPAM Titles” from by trash box for blog inspiration for the rest of the month. This particular email guaranteed that I could quit smoking if I paid for their program; I don’t smoke so I guess I’ll never know for sure… but…

Although we’re drawn to a life of safety, a life of total success, there is no such thing as a guarantee.

Neither should there be.

This is a rough tough broken old world, full of human frailty and potential obstacles that could get in our way and foil our plans.

It’s filthy down on the street, we make choices that affect each other deeply; we sometimes even sabotage our own plans for success.

I’m not saying that you should simply keep on smoking and take another draw on that cigarette; I’m just saying that there no guarantees that your life will be infinitely better if you succeed.

Geoff…I really enjoy your seven sentences in my mailbox. Quick, easy, inspirational!

I’m actually trying to quit by using an electronic cig. It’s going pretty well. But yeah…it is a filthy world out there. The last thing it needs is my butt tossed out in the street.

You threw me with that title. I figured you were using it as a jumping off point. But, I was still less interested to open this particular email. Particularly since I don’t smoke! You are certainly right that there are no guarantees that fixing this or that in our lives will make everything just fantastic. In fact, it occurs to me that if we would all accept that life is tough, and there is no perfection, the world would quieten down a bit.
