- Don’t hide and don’t keep your head down; fix your eyes on the horizon, and keep a constant look out for other travelers.
. - Walk on the main path, don’t despondently wander off track convinced you will never find your oasis.
. - Be open to conversations and unashamedly share your journey with others who you meet a long the way.
. - Never despise another travelers story; they are a fellow pilgram on a similar journey and their story may save your life later on in the desert.
. - Hang out at the local watering holes; these are places where other thirsty creatives hang out; think coffee shops, book shops, open mic nights.
. - Walk with others who are heading in the same direction; two or more can do things that one person simply cannot.
. - Keep a record of all the strangers you meet and remember the stories that they tell you; one friend may lead to another.
