Great timing on this post... My wife registered for college yesterday. She's going back after a 15 year hiatus to pursue a teaching career. Staring 4 years of college in the face at our age(late 30s) with 3 kids and full time jobs is scary, uncomfortable, inconvenient, and tiring, but we figure it's worth it. Don't let the masses fool you, dreams are achieved only by chasing them over treacherous ground. There are no overnight successes, there is no instant gratification. Hard work and commitment is what it takes, and doesn't that make the achievement more satisfying?

Well said, Geoff, very well. Chasing dreams is not a comfortable occupation, but a dream realized is bliss. Thank you for the post and the resulting smile on my face!
