I have just tweeted. This is a simple thing like most worthwhile statments. It makes you think. And rightly so!

"We all need the help and support of others to achieve our dreams, but we
are never called to be prisoner to the lies of an oppressor who will
convince you that you are powerless to change your situation."
Great, great stuff right there! Break the chains. The time is now. Thanks Geoff.

Wow, this a great one! So true. It's so easy to feel like we need all these achievements and requirements in place before we actually get started with something. And we don't!

Oh, it seems I had to reach my fourth decade on this planet to understand this simple, totally liberating truth:
"The opinion others have of you is simply something they have." Meaning, that you are essentially an occasion for their forming a mental image that they believe represents you.
The opinions people have are based on their personality, their biases, their representation of the world, their limited perception of a wider picture that is your personal reality, etc. They are the coloured glasses they wear when viewing you.
You should listen to what they say, then move a step back and ponder on it. First of all, you should have a pretty good idea of who you are and what you stand for -- then opinions become mere opinions and nothing more.
