Why You Can Write Just One Creative Sentence

Could you conjure a single creative sentence full of  juice?

Sometimes the enormous scale of a project or a dream keeps us from truly believing and attempting the impossible.

We don’t think of ourselves as creative enough to write our own creative blog, a screenplay or a novel. But we all know we can write a single creative sentence right (It’s called a Tweet or a status update).

A book is really just a collection of creative sentences put together in the right order; what you can do once you can do a million times over. Only a fool would try and eat all of his dinner in a single bite.

The creative source inside of us won’t run dry, stay in the creative flow and just follow your dream one sentence at a time.

I need to hear this constantly.  I’m such a large picture kind of person that I’m instantly overwhelmed when I sit down to write.  But a novel truly is just a compilation of creative sentences.  Thanks for the reminder.

Very cool Lizzie… one step at a time. One little step everyday and a person can do anything. Have a great weekend.

Geoff, I love this post.  It reminds me about not rushing through the creative process and savoring each “bite” along the way.  I’ve talked to a number of authors and have been told that the most rewarding part of writing their books was the writing, not necessarily the finished book :)   No more rushing to the end goal, just living.

Inspiring Geoff!  All things are possible, if you believe: even God becoming man. That’s just a detour by the way.

Great comment Eva… All things are possible but not everything is permissible.
