So I have spent the day putting budgets together for our film Lucky & Rich. When I say film… well that is really just one part of it. It’s a cross-media projects that includes a feature film where you get to choose the ending, an interactive 6-part television documentary, two different web series and an interactive casting show…. Phew!

This is the way of the future I believe. Actually I come from a family of accountants so budgets and numbers really aren’t as dull as you might think, actually they are quite sexy.

Having to do a budget is GREAT for the creative mind because it makes you view the whole project from an external point of view. You look at each item and you ascribe a value to it, when you do this you realize just how important EVERYTHING is.
