Clint Eastwood makes films very fast, to a very high standard and in a stress free manner. Rumor has it that Clint shoots in the morning, plays golf in the afternoon and edits in the evening whilst almost everyone else is filming until midnight. A of making apparently he has worked with same people for decades… maybe this is why he can work with such ease.
Forming lifelong working relationships is one way of ensuring that work is enjoyable and has a sense of family. As I pitch and meet people around Hollywood in the next 3 weeks I am praying for the same thing; that I would meet the right people and form mutually beneficial working relationships that would last for decades. I pray that when someone we would both know if the “relationship” is a good fit within 3 seconds.
Finding the right people takes time but working with the wrong people takes even longer.
